Emerald City Band is celebrating 40 years with a Special Anniversary concert, live at the House of Blues Dallas on November 15th. Doors open at 7pm and ECB performs at 8pm! This concert is for you, the people!

Emerald City Band was recently highlighted in a PartySlate article titled “17 Dallas Party Venues, Plus Real Events To Spark Inspiration.” The article showcases exceptional venues in Dallas, making it a valuable resource for anyone planning a wedding or party.

We had the privilege of speaking with the team at Good Day Fox 4 about the rich history of the Emerald City Band. Starting in 1983 we hit the ground running, playing for public events with our original music and then moving on to covers of popular songs on the radio at weddings and galas.

D Magazine’s Best of Big D 2019 celebrated Dallas’ top food, drinks, and businesses with mouthwatering bites, fresh drinks, and live performances at The Bomb Factory. Guests danced all night, honoring creative local businesses and D Magazine’s 45th anniversary at this vibrant annual party.

Phillip Mistretta, Emerald City Band’s keyboardist, was influenced by jazz legends and artists like Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, and Quincy Jones, shaping his passion for music and sound design. His diverse inspirations help create the band’s unique, “once in a lifetime” sound and style.

Emerald City Band’s new web series “Behind The Music” features interviews with passionate members. Bass guitarist Dwayne Heggar, with thirty years in the band, embodies their devotion to music, stating, “I think music is a spiritual element for all human beings.”

Emerald City Band’s newest recruit, Danny Phillips, is excited to join the ECB family. Influenced by his saxophonist father, Danny taught himself piano before switching to saxophone. Graduating from A&M Commerce in Music Performance, he looks forward to making memories and music with the band.

Not many people can say they’ve heard a live band that can cover Pitbull, Tina Turner and Michael Jackson in one night. But not every band is like Emerald City.

Emerald City Band has traveled across Texas, energizing Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and even Detroit. Despite late nights and early mornings, creating unforgettable moments for each person keeps them going. Cheers to an unforgettable summer.

Over the years i got to know and became friends with Kidd, Kelly Big Al and the rest. From the charity work we did together over the years to the Second chance proms, theres is no better team on the radio and were honored to call them our friends.

Emerald City Band traveled across the USA, playing exclusive parties from Dallas to Orlando, then flew to Cobo, Mexico. Despite travel challenges, the band was excited to perform an energetic show, grateful to do what they love.
